This whole bringing home the bacon bullshit

Sing with me, ye sisters of a certain age:

I call bullshit.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m not an anti-feminist.  I’m thankful that I have so many opportunities for employment that weren’t available in decades past.  And I’m damn sure in favor of equal pay for equal work.  I am not currently being paid equal to the guy who had the job before me, but that’s another topic for another day.

One thing the commercial explain is that while you’re bringing home the bacon and frying it up for the family and taking care of your “man” - and the children, the pets, and everyone else - you are in danger of completely losing yourself in the process.
