I was one of four kids selected to learn the autoharp in 5th grade while the rest of the class focused on the recorder. We practiced for weeks, then all 5th graders city-wide played “Tis a Gift to be Simple” en masse with the local symphony orchestra. Geek that I am, I loved playing that thing.
